The resulting digital platforms expect a series of components such as connectivity, internet technology and end to end security. Today’s challenges for development are related to the plethora of standards and developing technologies, a constantly moving target where regulations like ePrivacy, the new Cybersecurity strategy have additional impact. While all of this happens, the manufacturing industry applying (improving the production process) and creating technologies (developing connected appliances and services) need to digitally transform with concerns over integration and security.
